Ready for a fun experience in Jerusalem this fall season? The First Station is centrally located and is the perfect first stop for a taste of what this great city has to offer.

Humble Routes

Jerusalem First Train Station

The First Station was originally the historic railway station in Jerusalem, Israel, located between Hebron Road and Bethlehem Road, near the German Colony. The station opened in 1892 as the terminus of the Jaffa –Jerusalem line. In 1998, this railway along with the station was closed, and the station lay neglected for many years. After undergoing an extensive restoration, it reopened as a cultural and entertainment center in May of 2013.

One of the best parts of visiting the first station, is the easy access it offers to some of the most popular destinations across Jerusalem. You can pick up a free shuttle ride to the old city, head over to the world famous Menachem Begin Heritage Center, jump on the bus to The Jerusalem Arena, where you can experience one of the local sports teams or a music show, or simply walk over to the IMAX Theater, Lev Smadar Cinema, and the Jerusalem Cinematheque, all of which are a walking distance away.
